• Understanding the World:  A gentle introduction to marine science and the natural world by exploring the animals that live in the ocean. Consideration of their size, their habitats, and the way they live is encouraged through stimulating and enjoyable activities.
• Colours: The vibrant world of the ocean is the perfect way to learn about colours and this is achieved through colouring and categorisation of sea creatures by colour. There is even a hands on exploration of colour theory.
• Numbers: The activities introduce early maths concepts, from simple number recognition to more advanced patterns. This helps foster confidence with numbers and some of the processes in which they are used.
